  18. OEM now has the option to set DDC default to ON or OFF by 
  19. modifying the Cirrus.inf file.
  20.  - Open the cirrus.inf file found on the disk.
  21.  - Go to the section called [cirrus_SoftwareDeviceSettings]
  22.  - Edit the last character to 1 to enable DDC. 
  23.    Example:     HKR,, DDCControlFlag, %REG_DWORD%, 1

  52. How to Install Windows NT 4.0 display drivers
  53. =============================================
  54.  
  55. 1. Make sure you have installed WinNT 4.0 OS in your HD according to MS
  56.    installation procedures.
  57. 2. Click on the Start box in the lower left corner and proceed to Settings,
  58.    Control Panel.
  59. 3. Inside the Control Panel group, click on the Display icon to open the
  60.    Display Properties folder and select the Settings tab (right most tab).
  61. 4. Choose the "Change Display Type..." button and click the "Change..." 
  62.    button in the Adapter Type group.
  63. 5. Select the "Have Disk..." button and then insert the 5446 WIN NT 4.0 
  64.    Driver Installation diskette into the floppy drive A: or B: and proceed 
  65.    with OK button.
  66. 6. Select "Cirrus Logic Graphics Adapter".
  67. 7. Follow screen instructions to exit Display Properties folder.
  68. 8. When prompt to restart computer, select Yes so the new driver will take 
  69.    effect after reboot.
